PROJECT FEATURES
Frac Sand Transload Terminal expansion including two 38’ dia. x 138’ tall, fully-skirted tanks with truck drive throughs and usable capacity of 5,000 tons each. Rail unloading pit situated under two tracks with automated industrial sump system. System is designed to unload rail cars at a rate of 800 TPH, and loads trucks in under five minutes from time of weigh in and out. Convenient stair tower allows access to silo and bucket elevator head platform for maintenance. Dust collection system, instrument-quality compressed air system, PLC based controls and modern MCC assures an automated and virtually dust-free environment. This system was provided as a design build turnkey project and included: engineering, project and construction management, procurement and contracts administration, all concrete and foundations, structural, mechanical, and field electrical site work, and start-up assistance.
